Dr. Jill Deppe

Dr. Jill Deppe is the Senior Director of Audubon’s Migratory Bird Initiative. She leads a team of scientists who make migratory bird science accessible for use in conservation, policy and education. Together with partners in conservation and technology and hundreds of scientists, she and a team at Audubon produced the award-winning Bird Migration Explorer (ExplorAves in Spanish) that uses interactive visualizations to show the annual movements of migratory birds, how they connect people and places across the Americas, and the conservation challenges they face during their annual journeys.
