Shana Stewart Deeds

Roles: Special Guest

Shana’s career has centered on ecology and education, with special focus on amphibians and water quality. She received her M.S. from the Field Naturalist and Ecological Planning Program at the University of Vermont. Shana is currently a Laboratory Instructor of Biology and Environmental Science at Maine’s Bowdoin College. As the Coordinator for the Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers Wild and Scenic Study – the first nationally designated Partnership Wild and Scenic Rivers in Vermont – Shana crafted the management plan and U.S. Congressional report and worked with partners to create community consensus. Shana was Coordinating Producer for River Connections: Partnership Wild and Scenic Rivers.
