George Hiraoka Cloke is an audio-visual artist and environmental researcher. Notions of ecology, memory, and myth pervade his work.

Hiraoka Cloke’s audio-visual projects have been exhibited in New York, Glasgow, Tokyo, Helsinki, and London. His award-winning non-fiction short ‘Swanscombe Cyclone’ explores the fragility of biodiverse wetlands and was produced in collaboration with environmental campaigners from India, South Korea, Cyprus, and Canada.

As an ambient/electronic musician, Hiraoka Cloke has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and Spotify Editorial Playlists. His music is released on the celebrated Japanese electronica label Flau.
