Carol Gonzalez Perez

Carol Gonzalez Perez is currently a junior at Del Mar High School. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and is a first-generation American citizen. Apart from participating in volleyball and track, she is a leader in her community through active participation in multiple service-guided clubs, as well as being an active member of the YMCA’s Model Legislature and Courts. From a young age, she has had an affinity for space, nature, and the sciences, which has guided her decision to pursue a career in STEM. For now, she is working hard in school to prepare for the next chapter of her life, college.
