Bart de Jong

Bart de Jong is Counselor for Infrastructure and the Environment at the Royal Netherlands Embassy. He has been working for the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment since 1989, in various positions, always working on international relations of the ministry. Prior to his position in Washington, DC he, inter alia, served as an attaché at the embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia and at the Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels. In his present role his portfolio includes: climate, environment, spatial planning, water management, and all modes of transport.
