Kathryn Barrows

Kathryn Barrows is an award winning television Producer, Cinematographer, and FAA certified Drone Pilot. Seeking stories of challenge, exploration and adventure, Kathryn brings a constant curiosity and enthusiasm for life in the outdoors. She has filmed documentary projects in the far flung corners of the globe, from the polar desert of Antarctica, to the African Savanna, to the jungles of Fiji. Kathryn has even filmed – and flown a drone – on the Arctic sea ice at the Geographic North Pole! A fierce competitor in marathons, obstacle course races, and other endurance challenges, Kathryn is an avid runner, skier, climber, and mountaineer. Kathryn is also a former National Ski Patroler with over 100 on-mountain rescues. She is a PADI certified Open Water Diver, and a Wilderness First Responder (WFR). Kathryn and her German Shepherd: K-9 Gusto, are current members of MARK9, a Canine Search and Rescue Unit.
