Award-winning Director/Writer ALISON REID has had a thriving career in film and television since the age of seventeen. After accumulating over 250 credits as stunt coordinator & second unit director, Reid formed Free Spirit Films. She produced and directed The Baby Formula, an award-winning narrative film in 2009. Alison also directs episodic television. Murdoch Mysteries, Heartland, Saving Hope. She is a director alumnus of Creative Women’s Workshops’ Women in the Director’s Chair Program, and a producer alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre. Alison also received a Crystal Award, presented by the Director’s Guild of Canada for Best Emerging Director.
