The newest film from Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit delves deep into the world of wildlife trafficking. Over the course of 6 months, the Al Jazeera team infiltrates organized criminal syndicates that are moving rhino horn from the kill in Africa to the sale in Asia. The investigation focuses on the role played by diplomats and embassies in enabling the trade through political corruption. The film reveals the techniques and tactics that criminals employ to move rhino horn through their complex supply chains to avoid the authorities. It has generated a significant amount of buzz and will stimulate conversation about what needs to be done if the world does not want to see the rhino go extinct.

Directed by Jeremy Young. Produced by Kevin Hirten.
