Two radical environmentalists and an ex-marine plan an act of ecoterrorism: they build a bomb to blow up a dam, hoping to block the urban development swiftly unfurling itself over the Oregon countryside. In the wake of the explosion, the three conspirators go back to their lives, intending to cease contact with each other, but guilt and paranoia overtakes them. Night Moves finds Kelly Reichardt working in a new mode – the knife-edge thriller – while retaining the bone-deep understanding of character that has made her a leading voice in independent cinema.

Directed by Kelly Reichardt and produced by Neil Kopp, Anish Savjani, Chris Maybach, Saemi Kim, and Rodrigo Teixeira.
