All alone in the sky and bored, the Moon Man (voiced by Katharina Thalbach) hitches a ride to Earth on a passing comet in this animated film. But his arrival is regarded as an attack from outer space by the Earth’s arrogant president. Meanwhile, the world’s children are unable to sleep without seeing the Moon Man in the night sky, and they must join forces to return him to his rightful place. This effort leads Moon Man to seek help from a kindly scientist who lives in a castle by the sea, full of charming Rube Goldberg-like devices. English language version.
