Michael has decades of experience producing and filming natural history subjects and scientific research, from the tropics to the Arctic. While a university student he made his first film “Ternwatch,” which chronicled Helen Hays’ seabird nesting study in 1976. Some 40 years later “Ternwatch” provides some historical context for “Full Circle” and Michael returned to Great Gull Island to film again.
