Bryce Vernon Groves

Bryce is a multi-disciplinary creative director with 18 years experience across advertising, design, photography and video production, both in his home country of Aotearoa New Zealand, and in the UK. After studying documentary film in London, he has harnessed the principles and techniques of factual filming in collaborations and commercial work, helping transform organisations and brands while pursuing documentary opportunities. Crazy Bloody Greens is his first significant purely documentary production.

Bryce has a deep love of wild places and wildlife, and has contributed to a variety of causes for social and environmental good; from pro-bono design, photography, campaigning, and creative leadership for the New Zealand Green Party, to volunteering with journalists filming a child-labour story in India.

Bryce is driven by his core values of Craft, Partnership, Adaptability, and Kaitiakitanga (guardianship of nature) and is excited to contribute to DCEFF’s 30th anniversary year.
