David Caprara

David Caprara is a journalist based in Japan. He is a native of Fredericksburg, VA and graduated from the University of Virginia. Prior to moving to Japan he worked as a producer in the New York bureau of Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK. He freelances for VICE NEWS and was the co-director of VICE documentary Horimono: Japan’s Tattoo Pilgrimage. Prior to this he pitched and produced a VICE documentary on the Honey Hunters of the Nepal Himalayas.
