Sean Hanley is a non-fiction filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. His short films have screened at various venues and festivals including the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the New Orleans Film Festival, FLEXfest, Antimatter, the Aurora Picture Show, UnionDocs, and the Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinema.

As a cinematographer his work has shown at the Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Brandywine River Museum, the REDCAT Theater, BAMCinematek, Anthology Film Archives, the Pacific Film Archive, and the Yerba Buena Arts Center, among others.

He is a proud member of Meerkat Media, a collective of filmmakers & new media artists who produce projects through a non-hierarchical collaborative process.
