Jesse Meisenhelter

Jesse Meisenhelter is the Green New Deal campaign manager with the Sunrise Movement. She supports Sunrise’s storytelling, mobilizations, and political partnerships in Washington, DC. Prior to Sunrise, Jesse worked at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, National Geographic and on political campaigns for both Senator Bernie Sanders and Congressman Keith Ellison. Jesse is originally from Portland, Oregon and received her B.A. in Geography and Political Science from Macalester College in 2016.
