EFF Wins Mayor’s Award for Arts!!

Twenty-five years ago EFF founder Flo Stone had a vision for a film festival that would celebrate our planet and inspire people to protect it. All of you have been part of that effort as the idea grew … and grew … and grew.

 

On September 14th, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities honored DCEFF with the Mayor’s Arts Award for Excellence in Creative Industries.

 

We couldn’t be more thrilled!

 

We’re also thankful to our Board and Advisory Council members, especially those of who have been friends and partners of the festival for many, many years.  Your gifts of time, funding, leadership and support got us to where we are today.
