Dmitry Vysotskiy was born in Leningrad and studied theatre, screenwriting, animation and directing at the St. Petersburg University of Culture and the Arts (SPBGUKI). He has directed numerous music videos, ads, educational shorts, and animated shorts for such series as Sesame Street, and more. His latest short, Pik-Pik-Pik (14) won the Special Jury Prize at the HIROSHIMA International Animation Festival and the Kid’s Jury Prize at the Fantoche International Animation Film Festival.
