Susan Froemke

Susan Froemke is a four-time Emmy® winner and non-fiction filmmaker with over thirty films to her credit, including Academy® Award nominated HBO documentary film Lalee’s Kin (2001), Grey Gardens (1976) and Wagner’s Dream (2012) which had a US theatrical run before airing on PBS. Froemke recently co-directed Escape Fire: The Fight To Rescue American Healthcare (2013) with Matthew Heineman. Froemke was formerly principal filmmaker at legendary Maysles Films more than two decades.
