Dave Belote

Retired Air Force colonel Dave Belote is an energy and defense consultant who has served as an installation commander, Pentagon senior executive, and energy developer.  As commander of Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Belote oversaw the then-largest solar photovoltaic array in North America.For his accomplishments across the public and private sectors, Dave earned two Bronze Stars and was recognized in 2013 by the Obama Administration as a White House Champion of Change:  Veterans Advancing Clean Energy and Climate Security.  He is also a five-time Jeopardy! Champion and Tidewater native who’s committed to keeping his hometown–and its military and civilian port infrastructure–above water.
