PHOTOS: Community Event on Bats Conservation in Northeast DC

In honor of #ThrowbackThursday, check out how we went batty at the DC Public Library, last weekend.

 

Thank you for bringing the Bat Squad program to the Woodridge Neighborhood Library.

This was an informative and fun interactive program that the kids enjoyed participating in … Learning about bats from Michaela Jemison and the teen Bat Squad representative and seeing a few episodes from the Bat Squad video show was a nice way of introducing this type of science event to youth.  I know I learned a thing or two about the importance of bats in our ecosystem. Check out the pictures [below].
