Ting’s short films have screened in many international film festivals. She was selected for the Asian Film Academy of the Busan International Film Festival in 2011 and the Golden Horse Academy at Taipei Golden Horse International Film Festival in 2011. Her short film The Way Home (2013) won “Best Student Film” at the 2014 Hamptons International Film Festival and has been touring around the world. Ting co-produced short film My Father’s Truck (2013, dir. Mauricio Osaki) that premiered at Berlin Film Festival in 2013 and was shortlisted for “Best Live Action Short” at Oscar 2015. She gained her MFA degree in Film Production from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and holds dual BAs in English Literature and Finance from the University of International Business & Economics in Beijing. She has worked on films in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, USA, Singapore, Korea, and Indonesia etc.
