Jared P. Scott

Jared P. Scott is an award-winning filmmaker and founding partner at PFPictures. He recently wrote, directed and produced the NYTimes Critics’ Pick Requiem for the American Dream (2015/16). Jared wrote, directed and produced Disruption (2014), a story of climate and social tipping points that galvanized the largest climate march in the history of the planet; Do the Math (2013), on Bill McKibben’s three numbers that sum up the climate crisis; and The Artificial Leaf (2013 Sundance Focus Forward Jury Prize winner). He also directed and produced the critically acclaimed shorts Money is MaterialImpossible – both Vimeo Staff Picks. A seasoned speaker, Jared has delivered keynote addresses at both COP 20 and COP 21 and has been interviewed on CNN, ABC, NBC, Al-Jazeera and Huff Post Live.
