Africa’s elephants are hurtling toward extinction as fuel for the worldwide ivory trade. While conservationists howl and corrupt governments fail to address the ongoing slaughter, one brave family has manned the front lines for decades, rescuing one elephant at a time. Go inside Kenya’s David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, in Gardeners of Eden, to witness their heroic efforts to stop the poachers in the bush, rescue the orphans of slain elephants and raise them and re-introduce them to their home in the wild.

Directed by Austin Peck and Anneliese Vandenberg. Produced by Kristin Davis, Bryn Mooser, Molly Swenson, Austin Peck and Anneliese Vandenberg.
