Just Announced: Kristin Davis Will Join Opening Night of Earth Focus in L.A.

The actress and environmentalist behind Gardeners of Eden will introduce An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.

IT’S OFFICIAL: Actress and environmentalist Kristin Davis is joining L.A.’s first environmental film festival!

DCEFF is heading to Hollywood this month. We’re teaming up with KCET-TV, Southern California’s largest independent public television station, to present films for the Earth Focus Environmental Film Festival.

Davis, who produced DCEFF 2015’s Gardeners of Eden will introduce An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power at the Opening Night event on Thursday, July 27. (We screened An Inconvenient Truth at DCEFF 2007.)

The private launch will be followed by a full-day festival on Saturday, July 29, that will feature some of the most popular films from DCEFF 2017, including Water & Power: A California HeistRISE: Sacred Water – Standing Rock (Part 1)RISE: Poisoned RiverTomorrow (co-presented earlier this year with FilmFest DC); and The Age of Consequences (2017 Festival, 2016 On Tour: Boston).
